Meet the Cast: Coco, Maddie and Didi

This space is where we introduce the cast behind the name and share the household dynamics, strong opinions, funny interruptions, and dog logic that make 2shittiesandapittie what it is. If you love expressive dogs and the very specific chaos of a multi-dog household, you are in the right place.

Meet Coco Chanel

First up is Coco Chanel, known simply as Coco.

Coco is a Staffordshire bull terrier with a warm brown-taupe short smooth coat, a white chest marking, a muscular build, a broad face, and a pinkish-brown nose. She is the largest member of the household, but she is not the one trying to run the meeting.

Coco is the chill gentle giant of the group. She likes being with everyone, she likes her personal space, and she somehow manages to make both points clear without making a fuss.

Around the house, Coco is known for the stare, and it says plenty without a single sound. In a house this full of opinions, that kind of quiet confidence goes a long way.

Meet Mademoiselle

Then there is Mademoiselle, or Maddie.

Maddie is a Shih Tzu with a black and white coat, predominantly black ears, dark facial patches, and a distinct white stripe down her forehead. She is memorable on sight, but the attitude lands first.

Maddie is independent, entertaining, and unmistakably fancy with attitude. She has been described as a grunting old lady with plenty to say, and honestly, that tells you a lot. Her sounds, her demeanor, her general refusal to be anything other than herself? That is the whole Maddie experience.

Didi is Maddie’s aunt, which makes Maddie the niece, and that is how the household joke of Maddie Denise was born. Maddie is still happy to remind Didi that she is older, even though Didi holds the aunt title and is a few months younger. Family titles are one thing. Seniority, according to Maddie, is another.

Meet Dior Sauvage

Meet Dior Sauvage, known as Didi.

Didi is a brown-and-white Shih Tzu with a light brown or tan face and ears and a white body. She is the household’s attention-demanding little diva, and, as the youngest of the pack, she brings exactly the kind of energy that keeps everybody on their toes.

Didi and Maddie have a Tom-and-Jerry dynamic, complete with playful competition, strong opinions, and the kind of back-and-forth that makes ordinary moments feel way more dramatic than they probably need to be.

While her owner was working, Didi once closed the laptop because she wanted attention. Not hinted. Not hovered. Closed it.

Didi’s role in the cast is clear: expressive, persistent, and absolutely not interested in being overlooked.

Why This Pack Works

Coco, Maddie, and Didi each bring something different to the house, and that is exactly why it works.
